Eligibility Criteria for Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarships Program 2024

If you are considering applying for the Punjab Scholarship Program for the fall session of 2024, it’s important to understand the eligibility requirements to ensure you qualify. Here is a detailed breakdown of what is needed:

Residency Requirement: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must have a domicile from any district in Punjab. This means you need to be a resident of Punjab and have official proof of this residency.

Age Limit: Applicants should not be older than 22 years as of the closing date of applications. It’s essential to check this requirement to ensure you fall within the age limit.

Educational Enrolments: You must be enrolled in selected disciplines at selected universities or colleges for the fall session of 2024. Public Sector Medical and Dental Colleges: You need to have at least 80% marks in your FSc./Intermediate.

Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarships Program Sign up

First of all you have to create account on official portal of scholarship program. Here’s an explanation of each section in the form:

Sign In Link: At the bottom, there is a link for users who already have an account, directing them to the sign-in page.

Choose your Nationality: A dropdown menu where the user can select their nationality. In the provided example, “Pakistan” is selected.

Institute: Another dropdown menu labeled “Institute” where the user is required to select the institute they are affiliated with. The current option displayed is “Please Select,” suggesting that the user needs to choose from a list of options that will appear upon interaction.

CNIC: A text field for entering the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number. A note below this field states that spaces and dashes are not allowed in the CNIC number, indicating the format restrictions for this entry.

Email: A field for the user to enter their email address.

Password and Confirm Password: These fields are for the user to enter and confirm their password, respectively. There is a note stating that the password must contain at least 6 alphanumeric characters, providing guidance on the password complexity required.

Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarships Program Sign up

Only students who are 22 years old or younger and have got admission in fall 2024 session in selected BS programs in selected universities, are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

The procedure is same for all students, by submitting their applications via PHEC portal i.e. honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk.

Students from all campuses of Comsats, NUST, and FAST universities are eligible to apply, provided they have a domicile from Punjab province.

The qualifying scores to apply for this scholarship is

  • 80% for MBBS, BDS (public sector) and the students of all private sector universities.
  • 75% for Science subjects and 70% for social Sciences and Arts subjects for the students of Public sector universities of Punjab.
  • 65% for Science subjects and 60% for Social Sciences and Arts subjects for Public sector colleges of Punjab, where BS programs are being offered.

The final selection will be made giving 30% weightage to matric marks and 70% weightage to intermediate/equivalent marks.

The deadline to apply for the Honhaar scholarship is October 15, 2024.

A hard copy is not needed to apply for the Honhaar scholarship; only the online application is required.

A minimum affidavit of Rs. 50 is required to submit the Honhaar scholarship application.

A student can download template available on website and then it be copied-pasted at stamp paper.

Yes, the student can attach a receiving slip or any other receiving material from the concerned department.
